Love and hate are one in all

Meg slipped into the living room, trying to become un-noticed.
She sat down on a couch and snuggled up to the side, resting her head on her arm.
She didn't want to think about Ping at the moment. She knew everything was alright and that he loved her
but she was just a little sad on the inside.
She closed her eyes and wished just for a second, she was back home.
Snuggled in her cozy bed, reading books all day.
But this was reality. There was no wasting time all day. Just waking up and hoping you don't
get killed.

Shan yu entered the living room, seeing a familiar woman there. "Well hello there miss Megara." He walked closer to where she was sitting, and kept standing there, looking down at her.

Meg was a bit startled when she heard his voice.
"Shan-Yu?" she said, standing up and straightening her dress.
"How- are you?" she asked, folding her arms.

He smirked at her clear discomfort. "Peachy, how about you? Anything interesting happened to you?" He asked looking closely at her reactions.

"Oh you know- the usual," she said casually. "What about you?"
She leaned against the couch but kept her distance, making sure he wouldn't try anything.

He smirked. "Teasing Ping, as usual. Did you know he wears a skirt now days?"

"That's funny," she said sarcastically. She walked over to a table and grabbed an apple.
"Well, it doesn't matter what you think. We're in love," she said smiling.

Shan you was amused by her reply. "You are in love?" He laughed coldly, it was almost scary. "That is so funny. You do know she is a woman right?"

"Yes, I understand," she said, squinting her eyes. "But it doesn't matter what gender he is,
I still love him the same. And he loves me."
She made a small frown then turned her body a bit to take a bite out of the apple.

He arched his eyebrow. " 'He'? Did you just hear yourself? You think he is a man. Eventhough our dear Ping is a woman. Do you realise they call women like you two lesbians?" He teased her.

She turned around harshly. "Look, I met him as a guy and fell in love with his as a guy.
Just because I found out he's now a she, does not mean I'm a lesbian," she said gritting her teeth.

"Yes, it actually does. A rock is a rock eventhough you paint pretty pictures on it and call it art. Besides she is having a crush on Tulio."

"No,' Meg replied dully. "Ping said it was a kiss but nothing more."
She took a bite from her apple trying to act like what he said didn't affect her.

He almost laughed again. "You are so naive. She is a woman with a libido. What makes you think she would be interested in girls only? And that kiss proves it."

Meg listened to his words carefully but tried to brush them off.
"Shan-yu please, what are you jealous or something?" she asked winking.

He smirked. "No, just right." He went to take a seat near the fire, enjoying the warmth.

"Well then, stop making lies," she said bluntly then sat next to him by the fire,
also soaking in it's heat.

He looked at her sharply, annoyed that she was accusing him of lying. "I do not lie! I am not some decieving woman!!" He snapped at her.

Meg sighed and looked down. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to accuse you, but I'm still
a bit shakin' up about Ping," she said.

He glared at her. "Well you don't have to go insult me for not accepting the truth yourself." He was still a bit peeved by her accusation.

"There is no truth," she said. "So what if Ping kissed Tulio. It doesn't mean they love each other now."

Shan yu sighed, and rubbed his temple. Gatting through to this woman seemed like trying to drivce a needle through the skin of a rhino. "It doesn't, but it does mean that she obviously loves him."

Megara remained quiet that this. She knew very well that Shan-Yu couldv'e been lying
but he hit a spot that made her cringe. She looked at the floor silently trying not
to cry.

He looked up at her, seeing that he obviously got through to her. He turned his attention back to the fireplace, looking at the hypnoticaly dancing flames.
