A New Reality

"Who said I was joking?" he asked seriously once he had thought about it for a while.
No, he truely did never want a wife, he had never wanted one, and the thought of one was absurd.
However, Rose had awoken something in him he did not know he had. If he was to spend the rest of his days with a woman, he knew he would not want it to be anyone but Rose. She was beautiful, perfect, flawless.
And no other women could do to him what she did.

BriarRose her eyes widen. How could he say such a thing?
How could he even think that she would ever...
Rose cleared her throat. She would love to...be....
''..I-i thought you was...'' She tried to look somewhere else instead of him.

He frowned and looked over at her.
Maybe it would have been best if he had been. Looking at her reaction, he didn't think she was thrilled over the idea of ever being married to him. He knew what he was like, and knew what she must think of him but..
Was the idea really that repulsive?
"Not like I'll force you," he said with a weak laugh.

She smiled weakly back. '''..Not like I wouldn't mind, Being your wife..'' She turned to her other side quickly as she said it.
Shaking her head. As she had her eyes widen at her own reaction.
Rose blushed lightly. Covering her face with both hands.
''I-I mean..''

"Oh," he laughed as he realized why she had acted like she did.
It wasn't that she didn't want it.. it was that she really wanted it a lot.
But why were they even talking about this? They had barely been together for an hour? 2 hours?
"We'll think about that when the time comes, ok?" he laughed and nudged her playfully to lighten the mood.

Rose nodded laughing softly when he nudged her. ''Good idea.''
She turned back to her other side, Looking at him.
Smiling softly, As she let her nails softly scratch his arm again.
''So..where were we?'' She grinned.

"Wherever you wanted us to be," he said as he stroked her soft cheek with the back of his hand.
He looked straight into her eyes, not knowing how any man could ever get enough of the deep, beautiful view.

Rose laid her hand on the one he had on her cheek. ''I wouldn't want us to be anywhere else..'' She smiled softly.
Bringing her hand towards his face pulling him closer softly as their lips touched.
She brought her hands in his neck. Gently pulling him closer just a little bit.

So much had happened that day it felt like it had been weeks, even if only hours had passed.
He thought about everything, all the events of the day, and everything before that day, that had led him to where he was now.
"Me neither," he said, smiling softly at her as he softly kissed her lips.
What's happened to you? Since when are you so pathetically cheesy?!
He broke the kiss and looked at her before he got up to put his pants back on.
"Do you want to go eat something?" he asked instead.

Rose laughed softly as he stood up. ''What's wrong?''
She held the sheet up to her collarbone. Looking at him. With a innocent look.
''But yes I am hungry. So I would not mind eating something.''
Standing up from the bed she kept the sheet before her chest. Taking her dress she kept her back at him,
As she dropped the sheets and stepped into her dress, Putting her arms in the sleeves.
She looked over her shoulder. ''But..Could you help me?'' She pointed to the back of the dress.

He had gotten his own clothes on when he turned around to see her.
Slowly he walked over to her, hugging her softly from behind before he gently stroked the hair away from her back while smelling the intoxicating scent it gave out.
He kissed her neck, before slowly zipping the dress up.

She smiled as he hugged her, Feeling him kiss her neck made her smile even wider.
When he finished zipping up her dress she turned around. ''Shall we go than?''
Asking him while still smiling. She let her fingers walk over his chest.

He held out his arm for her to take while they both walked towards the door.
He hadn't eaten the entire day, he was starving.
