What are we supposed to be now?

Jane stood in front of the door and tilted her head. What kind of room was this? She walked by some rooms who had numbers on the door, but this one was empty. Slowly she opened it and walked a few steps in the room. It looked like a Dining room. Some chairs were standing around a big table. Jane closed the door and leaned her back against it, as she saw Shan Yu standing in the room. She sighed, while biting her lip and stared at his back.

He was looking around the room when he heard someone behind him. He felt their stare. He glanced over his shoulder seeing Jane there. "What do you want?" HE asked turning around. "Didn't your friends want to talk to you?"

"Uh, uhm...", Jane stuttered. "I think Ping is mad at me. He didn't said a word. And Meg? She didn't asked something too. They both left the room.", she sighed and stared at her feet.

He looked at her, then pulled out a seat and sat on it. "You do understand he hates me. Not you nessasarily, but now that I have touched you maybe he is jealous."

Jane lifted her head and looked surprised in Shan Yu's eyes. "Jealous? Why?", she walked a few steps towards him. "I mean... I never...", she bit her lip.

He crossed his arms on his chest. "He doesn't seem too interested on that Megara girl, though she is clearly interested in him. It would make sense." He said smirking.

Jane tilted her head. "Meg wants something from Ping?", she took a chair herself and sat down in front of Shan Yu. She put her arms on the back of the chair and layed her head down on them. "I don't think that he would ever be interested in her or myself that way..."

He looked at her very interested now. "And why is that?"

Jane shrugged. "Just a feeling.", she couldn't say him what happened at the lake. Her view flew around in the room. "Why do we need such a big Dining room? What do you think?"

He looked around. "I suppose we are expected to socialise." He let out a cold laugh. "Easily said than done."

"Yes...", Jane sighed. "I don't even know the names of all my group members. There is a little boy in it, but he never introduced himself to me...", she stroke through her hair. "I'm not even sure if I want to meet everyone."

He shrugged. "I'm not that scared to meet people. What can they do to me?" He asked mockingly. "I'm not afraid to die."

Jane laughed. "It's not that I'm afraid. And I didn't scared death for a long time now. It's more that I'm not that social person. I can bare a few peoples but not that much like everyone who were stranded like us. I just joined parties in England because of the rules in high society. I'm more the one who wants to be alone.", she stroke through her hair.

He smirked. "I'm like you also, but I don't detest talking to people. It's like a game to me."

"So you are more the man to play games??", she smiled slyly. "Maybe I can figure out someday which kind of game I can play with you, that I will win.", Jane stood up and put the chair back on his place. She stretched herself. Jane leaned forward and gave Shan Yu a short kiss on his lips. "I'll be going and take a shower.", she turned around and walked to the door. Jane opened the door and looked back to Shan Yu. She winked and closed the door behind her.

He looked after the woman, smirking slightly. "Odd woman." He said making his way back to the livingroom.
