Round and round again in a merry-go-round we go

Shan yu walked into the livingroom, glad that there was nobody in there. He went to sit by the fireplace in a chair that had a high back. He enjoyed the warm fire and closed his eyes for a little while.

Rose had to get out. She just needed to find a place to be alone. Put everything on one line.
She stopped seeing Shan-Yu in the living room. His eyes closed. ''Taking a afternoon nap sir Shan yu?''
Grinning softly.

He cracked one eye open before closing it again. "Didn't I tell no need to call me sir." He sighed and opened his eyes. "How are you miss Rose?"

''But I can believe so much fun by that simple word.'' She smiled at him, Walking into the room she sat down on the arm of the chair. ''I have been fine. How about you? Sir.'' She smirked at him.

He made a face. "I have been doing just fine." He let his eyes go to her hand, seeing a burn and a ring there. "What is that miss Rose. Did you get hurt?"

Rose looked at her arm. She nodded. ''Yes.'' Letting her hand go over the bandage.

He looked at her raising his eyebrow questioningly asking her to tell him.

''I played with fire...Let's say that.'' She smirked at him. ''But the man did not like me so much..'' Stopping the smile,
She looked down again. The thought of her sister just allowing it..

He arched his eyebrows. "Who wouldn't like you?" He then looked at the ring on her finger. "And the ring?"

Rose smiled at the compliment. Looking down at the ring. ''Oh...'' She laughed softly.
''Got it from Tulio..''

He smirked. "Well isn't that nice of him. What's the occasion?"

Rose just smiled. ''He ehm..Proposed to me.'' Why did she just say that? It sounded so strange..
Though she couldn't help the soft smile on her face.

He was surprised, and it showed on his face. "Congratulations I guess then. You love him?" He asked slyly.

Rose looked at him. Grinning as she nudged him, ''I guess so..I am not sure whether it is real love. I only read about it in stories. Never experienced such a feeling.''

He smirked. "I guess true love is that you don't get tired of the others face when you are together for years."

Rose laughed softly. ''But can you get tired of company? If you look it that way, I would love you too.'' She grinned.

He shrugged. "I don't know about you, but I have. If I ever find someone who I actually want to see everyday I don't think I would leave willingly."

Rose looked at him, Frowning slightly. She than looked down at her ring. ''But he did leave me..''
She said, Suddenly really unsure. If what Shan-Yu said was true. Than why did Tulio leave her when he Loved her...

He looked at her hand as she did the same. "Did he say see you later?"

''No..But when I told him if he wanted me to leave I would he told me he did not want me to leave, But he went looking for his friend..Ping.'' Rose said playing with the little ring.

He smirked, his mind working on some possible scenarios in Tulio and Ping. "I don't think you need to worry." He said keeping his face and voice calm.

Rose looked at him. ''And how..Can you be so sure?'' she asked slow. Looking into his eyes,
''I will never know what goes around in a man his head.'' She grinned, Messing up his hair.

He made a face and pushed her hand away from his head. "I can't, but I know this, he is a fool if he betrays you." He smoothed ou thi hair.

Rose nodded. ''He is..'' She looked towards the door. ''And it would be his death.'' Looking back at Shan-Yu she smirked.

He grinned. "It sure would."
