Ready to fight?

"You can only be cheated if you want to be," he smiled teasingly back. It was true, humans had the strange tendensy to believe what they want. They lost their focus and put their gards down because they chose to be blind to the world.
Walking closer to him Tulio put his hand on Ping's head, gently messing up his hair once again.
"Besides, you never specified any rules," he said and winked at him.

Tulio's words made him laugh, then, at his last words, he laughed again shaking his head and finally raised on his feet: he guessed that the game was finished, and probably it was better in that way... too many emotions already, he didn't know if he could have handled more... and thinking so, he totally lowered his guard.

"Hey," Tulio said and nudged Ping's shoulder to get his attention.
"What do you see?" he asked and pointed straight towards the rising sun. It had only now rosen above the hilltops, giving off a wonderful mix of red, yellow and orange lights painting the sky.
He had already asked him this before, a long time ago. Ping's answer hadn't really satisfied him, but he allowed himself to hope that now Ping would understand. Now he might be able to see what Tulio saw.

When Tulio called him Ping turned and, as soon as he pointed at the sun, asking him what was he seeing, a soft smile appeared on his lips. He totally remembered when they talked about it, when they had actually started to be friends...
"A beautiful sunrise" he replied, looking at the sun, using on purpose the word 'beautiful'. He still didn't get at all Tulio's point of view on things, but he had started to understand what he ment with that word, and he had started to enjoy it...
That man was really changing his life...

Tulio grinned widely. He didn't know how he could ever express his overwhelming pride in the boy.
"You know what? I think I'm starting to feel something for you.." he muttered, before looking at Ping.
He paused for a while, just looking at the boy. It felt so weird to have someone like him around.
"I never really had a brother before," he continued laughing. It was really what he felt for Ping.

At his first words inexplicably he felt butterflies in the stomach: feeling something? He was probably starting to feel something as well... when he explained he couldn't say if he was entusiast or disappointed, but either way he smiled widely
"me neither..." sisters weren't the same thing: she could nevere have done something like that with them... and... the feeling that he was feeling... was a brother-thingy... wasn't it?
