A New Reality

She stood up. Letting her hands go on his chest. ''Yes...I don't want to waste this opportunity, Maybe..I won't get this chance anymore and..I want it to be with you..'' She let her hands travel up to his neck.

She opened the drawer of the nightstand. It was one deep drawer, she took out clean sheets. Taking off the old ones. She laid them in the corner of the room. Crawling in the 'new clean' bed. She pulled the sheets over herself. Looking towards the bathroom.
What was the matter that he had to clean up?

He let it all out in the toilet, before walking back into the room, finding Rose changing sheets.
He guessed it was better, as she had left a couple of blood drops on the old sheets, but he still hadn't expected her to be cleaning, and taken by surprise he couldn't help but laugh softly as he reached for his underwear and put them back on.
He watched her finish up and pull the sheets over herself, before he sat down on the bed himself.
"You never rest do you?" he asked teasingly as he scooted over closer to her.

''What is that? Rest? I have never heard of it.'' She answered sarcastically. Smiling at him.
She couldn't stop that silly little smile, Looking down.
''I hope you don't mind me cleaning up..'' She looked back up smiling softly.

"Why on earth would I?" he smiled teasingly at her.
A woman was supposed to clean, there was nothing abnormal about it. The only thing that had surprised him was the time she had decided to do so. But it was nothing but a good thing, it showed she did not mind doing some work.

''I don't know, Because it is your room and not my responsibility?'' She grinned.
Poking him on his chest. ''You will need to keep your own room clean when I am not here. Otherwise there will be underwear everywhere, And you don't want anybody to see that do you?'' She smiled at him.
Letting her nails run over his arm, Not to hurt him.

More goosebumps appear on his arm when she scratched it, but all he did was laugh at her.
No, cleaning might be a woman's responcibility, but he had been a bachelor his whole life, and never needed a woman to do his work. He knew perfectly well how to clean, cook and other necessities to get by on his own.
"It will be once you are my wife, so you might as well practise," he laughed, but stopped quickly.
Why on earth had he said that? He wanted no wife. The mere thought of commitment to that level scared him.
