Not again...

Ping had kept walking in the forest. The direction was toward the Eris's temple, but the built was still far away and he was taking his time to think. Eris's words were still stucked in his mind, but what he wanted to keep out if his mind was Meg. What was she doing now? What was she thinking? Was shs thinking to him? Did she still feel something for him?

Shan Yu had gone in the forrest to explore. He had found a good branch he could turn into a bow. He had found willow trees and used them to make the string and arrows. He decided to hunt something, he was so fed up with fruits and berries. He needed meat. He heard a crack and turned around ready to shoot. He lowered the bow, seeing it was only Ping. He then smirked and aimed the bow again and shot the arrow on the tree missing Pings face, like he meant to. "Booh!!" He said amused.

Ping was still walking and he was so taken from his thoughts that he didn't realized he was alone until an arrow almost took his head: dammit! How could he keep being so distracted? If he had been that way with the army, during the war, he had died the first day! Why can it be focused even when he was only to save himself?
He turned his head and when he recognized who had launched it, his heart missed a beat. Not him. Not again. What did he wanted this time?
He could fight, he had the lance, but... what was for? He knew that the mongol was stronger then him... He took just a second to think and then, giving him his back, he started to run away: sometimes even for the best soldiers the only smart thing to do is retire...

He raised his eyebrow up in surprise when Ping ran. He shrugged and gave a small chase after him. He ran up to a rock and took aim with his bow again, releasing the arrow. It grabbed Ping by the shirt and nailed him on the nearby tree. Shan yu jumped off the rock and walked calmly to Ping. "What's the hurry?!" He asked smirking. "I just want to play." HE leaned on the tree next to Ping.

He kept running fast for a short while, but run in a forest where you have to slow down at every tree and every rock wasn't simple. Then, suddenly, he felt something that grabbed his shirt and in a second he found himself nailed to a tree. When he felt Shan Yu approaching him again he could feel cold sweats all over his body, and his heart that was beating faster in fear... He didn't reply to him, he just stared at him with his eyes opened wide

He smirked and touched Pings chin. "Is the brave soldier afraid of me?" He let go of her chin, looking at her amused.

"Let me go" he whispered to him, hoping to make his voice sound confident but the result wasn't exactly what he hoped

He tilted his head to the side. "Why?" He crossed his arms over his chest. "You would just run away."

That was exactly his intention... what was he now? His prisoner? What did he wanted? Probably he wanted revenge for what happened back to the tree... He swallowed, keeping just his eyes still wide opened on him, and even if he was trying to hide it, it was evident he was scared

He smirked and wiped some of Pings hair from her forehead. "How does it feel? A Captain in the Chinese army is afraid of a low life mongol. Pure Chinese blood shouldn't fear filthy blood like me. Or is it that you are afraid that my filthy blood stains yours?"

"Even a pure chinese blood can fear dangerous beasts." he replied growling between his teeth, but he immediatly regretted it.

He wasn't surprised at his words, he had heard alot worse. He just laughed. "So you are afraid of me. What is it that scares you so much? My looks or what I did to you?" He asked pinchin Pings cheek.

His words made him blush a bit: he actually didn't want to admit to fear him, the words just racn out of his mouth... When he finished his last question, mentioning what 'he did' to him, a chill shaked his body: he didn't reply, instead he tried to wriggle, to escape, but that dammit arrow still kept him in Shan Yu's hands...

He smirked, seeing the small reaction to the last question. "Don't tell me you didn't like it." He let his fingers caress Pings cheek softly.

Like it? Could something like that even like? In Ping's mind that had just been a torture, a way to rip away from hi his dignity, nothing more. It had to be funny for the mongol tease in that way a chinise captain! He didn't reply even this time, but the answer was already evident in his eyes

He narrowed his eyes in amusement. He took hold of the arrow and pulled it off. He took few steps back, watching how she would react.

When he removed the arrow he looked at him surprised: what kind of game wanted he to play? He didn't know, but he wouldn't have played if he could avoid it: after a second of surprised, he moved to start to run again

He smirked. "Thought so...." He didn't go after Ping, but went back to his hunting. Hoping he could catch the deer he had seen few days ago.

He ran for a while, surprised that the mongol didn't follow him. He stopped to breath and suddenly he realized that he didn't have his lance with him. He mentally cursed, then he slowly started to come back, he needed that lance! He tried to be as silent as he could, expecially when he stepped again near where he had left Shan Yu

He had climbed ontop of the rock he had shot the arrow at Ping. The deer was in his sight. From the corner of his eye he could see Ping coming back. He sighed, shooting the arrow at the deer. The deer howled in pain and Shan yu ran to it, grabbing Pings lance from the ground and quickly cut the deers throat, making it bleed out.

He followed furtively Shan Yu's movement, looking at how he killed the deer and recognizing his lance: oh crap! Why that barbarian was using his lance? What was he supposed to do in that moment? He didn't have time to make a new one!

Shan yu looked at the dead deer, and then looked over his shoulder to Ping. He stood up and threw the lance to Ping. "That's what you came for isn't it?" He turned back to the deer, and knelt to pick it up on his shoulders. He looked at Ping and started to move back towards the tree.

The first idea that crossed Ping's mind when Shan Yu turned toward him was to run again, but the the mongol just threw the lance to him. He recovered it without a word then, when he was already moving away, he couldn't help and asked loud "What is it for?"

He stopped and looked at Ping. He pointed to the deer first and then to the lance in Pings hands. "This? or that?" He asked simply.

He narrowed his eyes, looking at the man, and when he talked again it was in chinese "No, why you let me go?" and give me back the lance, and didn't follow me...
