Long way to go

Tulio looked from Rose to John wondering why he would be doing this. He was worried, above all, about the pain it could inflict on Rose, and quickly turned to her, hugging her slightly before letting her go. He didn't want her to hear this.
"Go to your chamber," he said softly and smiled as if nothing was wrong. "I will call for you," he said before walking to John.
"What do you think you're doing?" he asked in a low voice, to keep Rose from hearing them speak.
"Do you think this is humourous?" he asked again through gritted teeth, looking over his shoulder to see if Rose was still there.

Rose blinked. Almost feeling pain..Again pain..She smiled softly at Tulio as he hugged her. She than narrowed her eyes.
''No. I will not go to my chamber.'' She said Shaking her head. Knowing Tulio would want to keep her from being hurt.
But John was her friend. And she would not leave until she knew what was wrong.
Not being able to hear what Tulio said to John as he kept it in a low voice. She stepped forward. ''John what's wrong?'' She asked.

"You ought to watch your tongue, human," John looked at him with narrowed eyes, he no longer classed himself as human since he had discovered his powers, the ability to hear even the most hushed of tones and strength beyond belief. He could knock him flying through the temple wall. He was now a heartless warrior, and not bound to keep Rose's happiness as Eris was. "I shall be fine as long as you quickly collect what you need and leave." He snapped at the blonde woman, quickly losing his patience with the two.

He glared at him, unable to keep his fury hidden, nor did he want to.
"She loved you, and this is how you repay her?" he asked in a snarl, still hushed to keep it from Rose, though he supposed she could not possibly overhear John's loud shouts. He wanted her out of there. Now. It was unnecessary for her to hear this.
"I assumed, after all you've been through, you would at least stay by her side. I suppose you are not nearly the man I thought you were. You shall regret this day when you wake up with nothing but a blackened heart," he said as he walked away from him. There was no reason for any of them to stay any longer, and it was obvious John wanted them out. He was not about to start a quarrel, least of all in front of Rose.

Rose frowned when John snapped at her. ''Excuse me?!'' She narrowed her eyes, Inside she was hurt. More than hurt. But on the outside she was angry. How could he even dare to say such a thing? Just yet he had promised her he would be back.
Instead he had brought Tulio and now he was acting like this...
''How dare you..'' She hissed..Almost reviling the hurt in her voice. As she took Tulio's hand.
She took her glance off John. Why did he desire them to leave?

John was utterly bewildered at the man's wild comments that made no sense to him. "Excuse me, but I have never met this girl in my life," He frowned at the male, unimpressed and angered. "So I warn you once more to stop making wild statements or I shall throw you from this temple with my bare hands." He threatened openly, not worried at all for the girls wellbeing. The woman, was now either angry or hurt, both of which made no sense to him as he had never seen her before. "How dare I? That is it, I have had enough of your insolence." His eyes narrowed. "Eris!" He called to the Goddess whom he willingly served.

"That's enough!" Tulio yelled at him, acting like a child. Due to this behavior Tulio could not see him as more than that.
"Rose, we're leaving," he said, and squeezed her hand before starting to lead her towards the entrance, past John.
The man could not scare him, but he had done an utterly good job of angering him. As he had never shared a great bond with him, it seemed weird that this would phase him in any way, but the hurt he had inflicted Rose he wanted none of. If he ever had truely loved her, he should never have acted this way, and pretending not to know her was a move he would not expect from anyone above the age of five. He had no patience for this man of his foolishness.

Rose stepped backwards as John yelled. She couldn't believe it...As Tulio led them out of the temple. She looked at John.
Just one more time. Before looking away from him, As they walked out of the temple. Biting her lip.
She had been crying in his arms..And now he did not know her?

Eris appeared. ''You called dear?'' She smirked.
Seeing the couple leave. ''Well you are doing your job so well.'' She grinned. Laying one hand on his shoulder.

John did not respond to Tulio's words but simply stood at the entrance to the temple with his arms crossed and face hardened. He would remember this maddened couple and not forgive them for their arrogance and insolence this day. Watching carefully as they walked away.

"I am glad you approve," John nodded, trying to lighten up a little from the hardened expression he possessed. "They insisted I knew the woman, there are some troubled individuals on this island." He sighed and rolled his eyes at the two. "Goddess, I was wondering if you would now show me to my room?" He asked, not wondering why he didn't remember the location if he lived there. "Also, would you assign me some company? I don't particularly enjoy isolation and I need someone to relax me after these two, I don't mind if they are forced to entertain me." He smirked, he truly did not resemble the man he was.

Eris nodded. Smirking wickedly at his idea. She liked him much better now, He atleast kew how to behave.
As Eris snapped her finger, She made a red haired woman apear.
''John...This is Anya..Anya, This is John. Now let's het all sentimental shall we?'' She joked.
As she disappeared.

John nodded in approval as he looked the red headed woman up and down appreciatively. "She will do nicely," He nodded with a sly grin at Eris before she vanished. "So then, are introductions necessary or should I escort you straight to my room?" He gestured in the direction of his chambers. "Personally, I prefer the latter," He chuckled lightly.

Anya's eyes widened when she was suddenly teleported to another place. She then stopped when she saw John, making her back up a little. And when she went to turn, she saw someone disappear. She turned around and looked back at John and froze at the mention of his room, "What..?" Anya asked as she backed up.

"Your decision sweetheart," John shrugged, looking bemused at her shocked expression. "Oh, and I wouldn't try anything if I were you, I'm not exactly human..." He smiled maliciously towards her, having no emotions meant that he certainly would not be morally viable to care for her wellbeing. "So, please make your decision quickly." He said, grabbing hold of her wrist in his locked grip, exceptional strength was the power Eris had granted him and he intended on using it.

Anya's eyes widened at his threat. Why did he threaten her? She jumped when he grabbed a hold of her wrist, wincing at how tight his grip was. Though she immediately tried to get him off of her, "L-let go!" She shrieked, "I-I don't want to go with you! Let go of me!"

"Oh my, Eris sent me a wimpy one," John rolled his eyes. "Although they are generally the more fun I am sure," He shrugged a little before pulling her along behind him towards his chamber. "Struggle all you please, there is no way you can remove yourself from my grip, it isn't physically possible and my strength will mean you can't hurt me. You will simply tire yourself out and then you won't be any fun at all," He winked towards her as they stepped closer and closer in the direction of his chamber.

"Oh my, Eris sent me a wimpy one. Although they are generally the more fun I am sure."

Anya's eyes widened at what he said, "N-no!" She shrieked once again, trying to get out of his grip..But it was no use, no matter how much she tried..She couldn't get out, and he was practically dragging her towards his room. Her eyes then looked up at him when he talked about his strength, and how if she tired herself out, she wouldn't be any fun.

Anya shook her head, "No..please!"

Rose had left from Tulio to get some of her belongings. She needed some new dresses. Her old one was all dirty and wet.
As she stepped into the temple she frowned. John with.. Anya? What was he doing? As John pulled Anya with him.
She felt her stomach turn. What was he doing? Why did she feel so strange...
Trying to ignore the feeling as she tried to go to her room unnoticed.

John turned to face Anya for a moment before he was about to slip into his secret chamber when he noticed the blonde woman from earlier lurking around. Again? Why had she come back, why was she here at all. He frowned deeply.

"You should not be here," John projected his voice across the room, tightening his grip on Anya's hand, not caring if he hurt her, he was now barely paying her any attention.

Rose raised her eyebrow. "Why not?" She said, she wasn't afraid of John. He couldn't hurt he.
Only mentally.. She stepped forward towards her chamber.
After all she still was Eris her sister, even though her and her sister did not seem to get along anymore..

John rolled his eyes. "Please yourself but make sure you stay out of my way, I have a puppet to play with," He gestured towards Anya who was attached to his arm with a twisted smile before stepping down the corridor and entering his chamber, closing the door securely behind him.

Rose could not believe this... She quickly went into her room. Running through her hair. As she felt her eyes water.
What was happening? Why was he like this? She needed Tulio...
As she took some new dresses out of her closet. She took a bigger basket and put them in it.
Before she went she looked into the mirror. She saw how her perfect skin had turned pale..
Biting her lip. As she took her glance off the image. Walking out of her room.
As she looked over her shoulder towards John his chamber.. Since when did he even have a chamber?
Looking away she walked out of the temple. She had Tulio...
That was all that mattered...
